Everybody.World is a LA-based streetwear brand that creates 100% recycled cotton, biodegradable, gender-neutral clothing locally in Los Angeles. Beginning in 2016, the brand aims to play “…an active role in changing the status quo, in basic clothing and beyond, utilising waste to make new, useful things that will last a long time and biodegrade thereafter.”

The Trash Collection takes a unique spin on their already recycled materials, by creating basics that are made exclusively of fibres extracted from waste textiles. The collection is made from 100% recycled cotton jersey and fleece materials, reclaimed exclusively from locally manufactured, post-consumer, US-grown cotton. In processing, the cotton is knit, cut, sewn and dyed right in the heart of South Los Angeles.

The Trash Collection includes a variety of tee shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, sweatpants and more, in a wide range of neutrals and colours.

Everybody.World’s Trash Collection product pages each explain simple instructions for garment care, as the natural, environmentally friendly dyes are sensitive to pro-longed light exposure. Also noted is the record of 100% recycled cotton material, and its traceable history exclusively through the United States.

The process of converting recycled cotton to post-consumer streetwear begins with a combing machine to “open” the cotton fibers and allow them to be transformed into repurposed material. Debris is then removed from the material in a wind tunnel, then additionally refined with a slamming process to remove remaining impurities so that the cotton can be hygienically combined together. Finally, the product of these processes is spun into long ropes of yarn, to then become the recycled material used for the entire Trash Collection.

Everybody.World focuses on more than environmental sustainability and is completely intersectional with their ethical manufacturing practices.
